The free meal food truck was our brother Bobby’s idea. He wanted a good truck that could go directly into communities, serve really good food for free, and make people feel welcome without questions, qualifications, or judgment. It was simple, generous, and completely Bobby. After we lost him that idea became the beginning of Red’s Good Vibes.
What happened next belonged just as much to the community as it did to us. People showed up. They volunteered, donated, cooked, shared our mission, opened doors, and believed deeply in this simple way of taking care of one another. The community latched onto Bobby’s idea and helped grow it far beyond anything we could have imagined, turning one food truck and one very simple belief into a movement that has now served hundreds of thousands of free meals across our communities.

Good Food. No Barriers. No Stigma.
Our trucks bring freshly prepared meals directly to neighborhoods, housing communities, schools, community events, and anywhere people can benefit from a good meal and a welcoming place to gather. There are no qualifications, applications, income requirements, or explanations needed. Anyone can walk up, choose a meal, and eat.
We focus on food people actually want to eat, offering choice whenever possible and including vegetarian, allergy-conscious, and dietary options so dignity is built into the experience from the beginning.

Anyone can walk up, choose a meal, and eat.
The food truck has always been about more than hunger. It is about connection, showing up for one another, and creating a space where accepting support feels easy, human, and free of stigma. It is also proof of what can happen when a community is given a simple idea and invited to make it its own.
Bobby’s original idea was never complicated, and we have worked hard to keep it that way.
