School Community Fridges & Pantries

Because food support shouldn’t feel like another assignment.

School food access is not one size fits all.

There are real opportunities to make food access more flexible, more comfortable, and easier to reach.

By partnering directly with schools, we can build on the support already happening and put good food where students already are. We think we found a gap worth filling. Actually, a few of them.

The first is the gap between eligibility and affordability. Families can work hard, do everything right, earn just above the income limits for free or reduced-price meals, and still feel the pressure of today’s grocery bill.

The second is the stigma gap. We want students to be able to access food in a way that feels normal, easy, and built into the school community, without being singled out or made to feel different.

The third is the flexibility gap. Schools are already doing so much to support students during the day. This program is designed to make food easier to access when life doesn’t fit neatly into a lunch period.

Because food support shouldn’t feel like another assignment. Students shouldn’t have to figure out where to go, who to ask, or whether it’s the right time. By placing community fridges and pantries right inside schools, we’re putting good food where students already are and removing barriers before they ever become obstacles.

So we’re building this with schools, not around them.

Red’s Good Vibes Community Fridges & Pantries are coming to Seacoast schools as an added layer of support for students and families.

They’ll include fresh produce, protein-rich snacks, grab-and-go food, take-home staples, and our new Tonight’s Dinner kits. Fresh ingredients are paired with a simple recipe card so students can head home with everything they need to help make dinner with their family.

No paperwork. No sign-ups. No pressure. Just good food, made easier to access.
